Nick Woltemade celebrates after scoring in the Euro U21 Championship for Germany

    Key Takeaways:

  • Stuttgart set 16 August as the final deadline for potential Nick Woltemade transfer offers
  • Bayern’s €50+5M bid for Woltemade was rejected, despite personal agreement with the player
  • Bayern officially unveiled Luis Diaz, who joins from Liverpool for up to €75M

Stuttgart will set a final deadline for a possible sale of striker Nick Woltemade, claims Bild. The German club believes that any offers for the 23-year-old footballer must arrive by 16 August, when the team faces Bayern in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.

After that date, Stuttgart will no longer consider proposals for their star, regardless of the amount offered.

There is strong interest in Woltemade from Bayern. The Bavarian giants have reached an agreement with the player, but their latest bid worth €50 million plus €5 million in bonuses was rejected by Stuttgart. Since then, no contact has been made from the Allianz Arena side. The player has once again informed the current club’s board that he wants to move to Bayern.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich officially announced their new signing Luis Diaz. The 28-year-old Colombian arrived from Liverpool for €67.5 million, with the fee potentially rising to €75 million with bonuses.

Diaz signed a contract with the German champions until the summer of 2029. The South American will wear the number 14 shirt at Bayern.
