According to numerous reports, Everton has already made contact with Manchester City regarding the possibility of taking Grealish on loan. The Toffees have expressed willingness to cover part of his £300,000-a-week wage but has not included a buy option at the end of the loan.
According to information from talkSPORT, City have made it clear they will not accept any loan unless the club covers the full salary of the player for the 2025/26 season. Grealish has two years remaining on his contract with the Citizens but fell out of favour with Pep Guardiola last season and has already realised he needs to leave the club.
Besides Everton, Tottenham and Napoli are also interested in the England international. Meanwhile, Grealish rejected an offer from Fenerbahce, where Jose Mourinho is the head coach.
The 29-year-old was not included in City’s squad for the first preseason friendly against Preston, which was played behind closed doors earlier this week.
He is also expected to miss the trip to Italy, where Manchester City will face Palermo in another friendly on Saturday.
