Lazio Actively Reshapes Squad Following Transfer Ban Removal
After having their transfer ban lifted, Lazio are moving swiftly to bolster their squad. The club expects 22-year-old striker Petar Ratkov, currently at RB Salzburg, to arrive for a medical examination today. Lazio is set to pay a fee of €13 million plus additional bonuses for the Serbian forward, who will put pen to paper on a contract running until the summer of 2030 and will earn a salary of €1.5 million per season.
Lazio’s transfer activity does not end there. The club has set its sights on several other reinforcements, including midfielder Giovanni Fabbian. The Biancocelesti have submitted a €13 million proposal to Bologna but will likely need to raise that offer to secure his services. In addition, Lazio has made a €10 million bid to Atalanta for attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini. Winger Cyril Ngonge, who is on loan from Napoli at Torino, is also among the targets under consideration.
