Barcelona recorded an emphatic 7:3 victory over FC Seoul in their second summer friendly. The match took place at the national stadium in the capital of South Korea in front of more than 62,000 spectators. The first half was tightly contested, with the Spaniards going up 2:0 before conceding twice, only to regain the lead at 3:2 in the final seconds. Lamine Yamal stood out with his first two goals wearing the number 10 shirt. After the break, the difference in class was overwhelming, and the La Liga champions scored four more goals, conceding only once.

Ferran Torres (74’, 88’) also found the net twice for Barca, with the other goals scored by Robert Lewandowski (8’), Andreas Christensen (55’) and Gavi (76’). For the Koreans, the scorers were Cho Young-Wook (26’), Yazan Al Arab (45+1’) and Han-Min Jung (85’).

This is the second victory for the Spanish side this summer, after they beat Japanese team Vissel Kobe 3:1 a few days ago. The Asian tour concludes with a visit to another Korean side – FC Daegu – on 4 August. After that, the Catalans fly back to Europe, with only the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Como on 10 August remaining before the La Liga season begins on 16 August.
