- Milan view the 22-year-old as a cheaper alternative to Dusan Vlahovic
- The potential deal could include a €35m buy option after loan
Key Takeaways:
Rasmus Hojlund could end up at Milan this summer, as Manchester United are open to the possibility of sending him out on loan.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri see the 22-year-old Dane as a more accessible alternative to Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus.

A proposal in the form of a loan with a buy option valued at around €35 million (£30 million) is being considers. Hojlund’s salary is also significantly lower than Vlahovic’s, which makes the transfer easier to complete.
United paid €80 million for Hojlund two years ago after strong performances for Atalanta, but the Dane failed to establish himself in England, scoring just 26 goals in 95 matches.
The Red Devils are currently pushing to finalise the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, which may open the door for Hojlund’s exit. Interest in the Danish striker also comes from Bayer Leverkusen, Inter, Roma, and Juventus.
At Milan, the search is ongoing for a partner to Mexican forward Santiago Gimenez, who recently confirmed he is staying at the club. While Vlahovic remains Allegri’s top priority, the lack of progress in talks with Juventus is making Hojlund an increasingly realistic option.
Milan are preparing for their match against Bari on 16 August in the Coppa Italia and aim to finalise their squad before the start of the new season.
