Borussia Dortmund working actively on Serhou Guirassy’s transfer

Borussia Dortmund are trying to secure the signing of Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart for the upcoming season. The 28-year-old striker has been identified as a priority target for BVB, as several clubs are keen on triggering his release clause, which is set somewhere in the region between €17.5 and €18 million.

Despite parting ways with manager Edin Terzić, Borussia Dortmund remain insistent on bringing Guirassy to their ranks. The club has presented a contract proposal and outlined their project to the player, awaiting his approval. Guirassy played was an instrumental figure in Stuttgart’s successful season, helping the team to a 2nd place finish in the Bundesliga by scoring 28 goals. In contrast, Borussia Dortmund finished 5th in the Bundesliga standings but managed to reach the Champions League final.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and other European big clubs have been linked with Guirassy. Borussia Dortmund are facing a tough battle for his signature, with the striker patiently waiting to see who will present the best personal terms before choosing his next destination. The competition from these top-tier clubs means Dortmund must act swiftly and decisively to secure Guirassy’s services, ensuring their offer is the most appealing both financially and in terms of career prospects.

Serhou Guirassy has been part of Stuttgart’s squad for the past two seasons. His career includes stints at Rennes, Amiens, FC Köln, Auxerre, Lille, and Laval. The Guinea international’s goal-scoring prowess has made him a hot commodity in the transfer market.

As Borussia Dortmund continue to push for Guirassy’s signature, the club aims to strengthen its squad and improve its domestic league performance while maintaining its competitive edge in European competitions.
