Rockets fend off Mavericks while Morant’s triple-double powers Grizzlies over Bucks

The Houston Rockets managed to fend off a late comeback by the Dallas Mavericks, securing a 108-102 win. Jalen Green led Houston with 23 points, hitting a crucial 3-pointer in the closing moments to seal the victory. Dillon Brooks and Alperen Sengun also played key roles, each adding 17 points, with Sengun grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds. Bench contributions from Amen Thompson and Tari Eason, who combined for 25 points, helped maintain the Rockets’ momentum throughout. On the Mavs’ side, Luka Doncic led all scorers with 29 points, including 15 in a fierce fourth-quarter rally. Kyrie Irving added 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, while Klay Thompson chipped in with 12 points to keep the game competitive.

In another NBA game, the Memphis Grizzlies dominated the Milwaukee Bucks, winning 122-99. Ja Morant led the way, posting 26 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds, marking his 12th career triple-double. Santi Aldama supported with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Jaylen Wells and Scotty Pippen Jr. each finished with 16 points. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 37-point, 11-rebound effort, the Bucks were unable to keep pace with the Grizzlies’ balanced attack. Damian Lillard had a particularly disappointing night, finishing with just 4 points on 1-of-12 shooting from the field.
