Arne Slot was named Premier League Manager of the Season for the recently concluded campaign. The Dutchman, who led Liverpool to the title, received the award named after Sir Alex Ferguson.

The winner was announced at a special ceremony in London. Slot did not attend in a show of solidarity with those injured in Monday’s incident, when a car crashed into a group of Liverpool fans during the club’s title parade.

Slot, for whom this was a debut season in England, won the prize in competition with Thomas Frank, Eddie Howe, Nuno Espirito Santo, and Vitor Pereira.

The last Liverpool manager to earn the award was Jurgen Klopp in 2022, when the Merseysiders collected 92 points and finished second in the final standings. Klopp also triumphed in 2020. The record holder remains Alex Ferguson, who claimed the Manager of the Season honour 11 times.
