Leipzig parted ways with Marco Rose in March, with Zsolt Low taking charge on an interim basis until the end of the season. The club has now secured a permanent head coach.
“Ole is a young, ambitious, and promising head coach who will take the next step in his development with us,” said RB Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schafer.
The Red Bulls finished a disappointing 7th in the Bundesliga last season and will not take part in European club competitions in the upcoming campaign. They collected 51 points and scored 53 goals over the season, making them the second-weakest attacking side among the league’s top 10 teams.
