At the same time, the capital club have agreed all details around the transfer of defender Daniele Ghilardi. According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma will pay Verona €10 million plus bonuses for his rights.
The 22-year-old Ghilardi, who is an Italy U21 international, is expected to undergo the mandatory medical examinations before officially signing his contract with the Giallorossi.
Ghilardi will become the fifth new addition to Roma’s squad this summer, following midfielder Neil El Aynaoui, striker Evan Ferguson, right-back Wesley, and the already mentioned Vasquez.
