According to Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese club has now reached a full agreement to sign Veiga for €15 million plus bonuses. The player is said to be ready to reduce his salary by more than 90 percent in order to facilitate the move.
Last season, the Spanish midfielder recorded 32 games in the Saudi Pro League with a return of 7 goals and 5 assists. Gabri Veiga has made 19 appearances and scored 3 goals for Spain’s U21 national team. His transfer to Porto is expected to be finalised before June 10 so that he can be registered for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
