A deal has yet to be finalised, however, with Atalanta demanding at least €50 million for their star man. Lookman has made 118 appearances for the Bergamo club, scoring 52 goals and delivering 25 assists in the process. Inter, for now, seem unwilling to raise their initial bid.
On the player side, Lookman has already agreed personal terms with Inter. The attacker has settled on a five-year contract and is expected to earn around €4 million per season.
Inter are not the only club pursuing the former RB Leipzig and Leicester man. Atletico Madrid have also shown interest in the Nigerian international. Last season, Lookman played 39 matches for Atalanta, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists. His current contract with the Serie A club runs until 30 June 2027.
